About Capacity
Capacity was founded by Marissa Figueroa, MS, ATC, CWC, following years spent inside elite, high-demand performance environments where long hours, significant responsibility, and constant availability were simply part of the job.
With access to outstanding medical care, advanced technology, and top-tier expertise, Marissa experienced firsthand that depletion was rarely a matter of motivation or work ethic. More often, it reflected the quiet relationship between workload, expectations, and the space available for recovery.
Like many high performers, she knew how to push forward. What she had to learn, and what proved far more difficult, was how to step back and view her life as a system. She had to understand how cumulative demand shapes resilience, and how protecting capacity requires intention as much as effort.
Capacity was created to offer that perspective to others.
Today, we provide structured, objective analyses of how the realities of daily life may be influencing energy and recovery. Our work translates full schedules and competing responsibilities into thoughtful, practical adjustments that can better support the care, tools, and commitments already in place.
Our clients are not looking for another program to maintain or another appointment to attend. They are seeking informed clarity from someone who understands the weight of high responsibility and the challenge of sustaining performance within it.
Capacity exists to make that clarity available.
